Mastery of the Mundane
Revisado: 02-22-25
Josh took a journey we have all been invited. But only some of us will embrace. His ability to capture moments in snapshots held me in a trance of past, present, and future all at once.
I've had my own journey to embrace Heaven coming to earth. it didn't involve alcohol, but that isn't the point. Josh captures the hearts longing for something it hasn't found. He captured the hunger of the self, the hunger to the filled. Constantly devouring whatever it's given in hope of rest. Yet finding none.
Josh your faithfulness of writing this, walking through the difficulty, and finding rest on the other side is a gift to Jesus and to us.
Thank you for moving to the hidden music and producing fruit for our King.

From respected journalist, professor, and founder of the Writer's Symposium by the Sea, an audiobook that demystifies the art and science of interviewing, in the vein of On Writing Well or How to Read Literature like a Professor. Nelson walks listeners through each step of the journey from deciding whom to interview and structuring questions, to the nitty-gritty of how to use a recording device and effective note-taking strategies, to the ethical dilemmas of interviewing people you love (and loathe).

Share humanity with the one in front of you
Revisado: 07-26-23
The topics in this book get straight to the heart of conversation. Overall this book comes at the topic of conversations from the perspective of a reporter. But the rest of us have just as much to gain from it. We all have conversations almost every day.
We should look to find the shared humanity in those conversations. Not sure how to? Pick up this book and you'll be well on your way.

I need more!!!
Revisado: 07-10-22
Dear Will, thank you for your creative self. I have found renewed strength, endurance, laughter, and drive to engage in my own present life because of your Cradle series. In my deepest Lindon spirit, gratitude.
Orthos feels like an old sensei I had and Eithan feels like the man I sometimes tap into. You could say I'm slowly touching the joy icon.
I know your blog said you will probably only make 12 of these, but I ask you to make more, even if they are side quests with other characters and their threads. A newer fan, me.
ps -- I would love to learn more about Zeal's life before he met the crew.
Gratitude.

I love that there was a sequel was made. The story felt like a series of plot points, not like a developing story or characters.
I hope that there is a third, or at least the world continues in some way.

Historia
Everyone loves Mathias. Naturally, when he discovers it’s his destiny to save the world, he dives in headfirst, pulling his best friend, Aaslo, along for the ride. However, saving the world isn’t as easy, or exciting, as it sounds in the stories. The going gets rough, and folks start to believe their best chance for survival is to surrender to the forces of evil, which isn’t how the prophecy goes. At all. As the list of allies grows thin and the friends find themselves staring death in the face, they must decide how to become the heroes they were destined to be.

Revisado: 11-16-19
I like Kel Kade solid author. I love new series' of books. what I don't love is binging a book and then there's nothing else for years. all that to say great book give it a listen fun new world worth your time little slow on the uptake but that's pretty normal for a new series in new characters fun new magic system look forward to seeing what happens.

Historia
The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

good but peculiar
Revisado: 01-14-17
most of the way thru the book, the characters end up cussing in normal language and that felt out of place. just like book one it was a bit of a slow start. decent progression however it felt a bit lacking in action.
