So full of himself
Revisado: 06-22-24
A disappointment. Jeff is so full of himself. Just can't stop telling us how wonderful he is. A terrible reader who sounds like he is reading his Bar Mitzvah speech. I know. I've read one.

Not for me.
Revisado: 03-28-20
As a New York litigator for 40 years I thought this title would be interesting. It was not. I'm not sure who this title was written for but certainly not for a seasoned litigator. And the author is not a seasoned litigator.

Historia
It could be said that Leon Panetta has had two of the most consequential careers of any American public servant in the past 50 years. His first career, beginning as an army intelligence officer and including a distinguished run as one of Congress' most powerful and respected members, lasted 35 years and culminated in his transformational role as Clinton's budget czar and White House chief of staff.

Boring
Revisado: 11-14-14
What was most disappointing about Leon Panetta and Jim Newton ’s story?
Boring is the best description I can think of. Panetta trys hard not to come across as being pompous but fails in the attempt.
Would you be willing to try another one of Leon Panetta’s performances?
No. I couldn't get throught this one.

The reader
Revisado: 11-15-13
Would you listen to Taking the Stand again? Why?
No. Having the a male author's daughter read his autobiography just doesn't make it.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
A female voice reading the autobiography of a male author is totally distracting.

Too involved
Revisado: 10-19-04
Very boring. Only a few minutes of easy to understand advice which involved the payment of bills. The rest was painful to get through.
