Every chapter when says you can skip to the next, it's actually at the beginning of the chapter not the end so you can't actually skip to the next chapter. I don't mind stat tables so it didn't bother me too much, but I don't like being lied to either.

What if you could munchkin a dungeon?

What if a Dungeon could exploit hideously overpowered but legal combinations of the Game System? In this story we see how unexpectedly awesome that would be. It did start out a little slow, but stick with it. It gets great.

I love the narrator in Alpha World and now I've got another series to look forward to.
I really enjoyed the authors take on how different a gaming world would be if you weren't alone making decisions, but had to take into consideration how these choices would affect your family, and your ability to protect your family. It was also cute the jealousy the MC showed at times when his wife or daughter would do something spectacular just because they didn't have any preconceived limitations on what is possible in a gaming world.

The way the characters friendships are portrayed are just great, love the real world humour and how the number of chatters grew significantly in this book but the character development was not over looked.

If this is how court sentencing is going to be in the future sign me up. A new and interesting spin on why the character enters the game, and I really enjoyed how he grows throughout the book from a snobby gamer to a real hero.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.
