Historia
John "Sicarius" Gaines has been regarded as the best at what does does. He is a paid assassin, and he is ruthless. He will stop at nothing to complete any contract he is given. He receives a contract for the death of New York Governor Tim Patton and completes the job quickly and efficiently. As the heat from the governor's death begins to trickle out, Sicarius finds himself entangled in an international drug-smuggling operation, of which Governor Patton was a key member.

Everyone Needs a Friendly Neighborhood Sicarius
Revisado: 08-30-19
Though this isn't my typical genre, I knew I had to give this story a listen as soon as I read the description. I'm very glad that I did.
Sicarius is an intriguing character; one that was very easy to imagine, based on the mental and physical choices he makes throughout the story. Though he's a clear badass figure and amazing at what he does, I still found myself rooting for his personal well-being many times, as I was fearful for every new situation he found himself in (especially after the governor's death, when everything starts spiraling out of control.)
It was great getting insight into the characters' motivations, and made the story more authentic. I thought the writing, and the narration, helped bring this story to life in a compelling way. The short, punchy action scenes drove home the urgency of the dynamic situations, and I think you will enjoy the ending as much as I did.
I recieved a copy of this book at my own request, and have voluntarily left a review.
