Historia
Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.

A bit of a slow start but turned into a great story. Like the other books I’ve listened to by Peter!

Revisado: 10-02-22
At the end of the series you realize just how good the book series has been and feel a bit sad that it’s over.
Have some novellas left but other than that no more The Expanse.
I really recommend all of the books, listen to them and enjoy!

The rise of AI has the potential to transform our future more than any other technology - and there's nobody better qualified or situated to explore that future than Max Tegmark, an MIT professor who's helped mainstream research on how to keep AI beneficial.

This book was in my library for quite a while before I started listening to it. I was expecting a somewhat boring theoretical book but with the initial story which is then followed by facts and different ways this all could turn out it was great fun and I learned a lot!
Would be awesome if the initial story had a sequel as well but I'm still super happy with the decision to buy and listen to this book!

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Historia
In the highly anticipated finale to the New York Times best-selling trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created? Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?

Historia
A revolution brewing for generations has begun in fire. It will end in blood. The Free Navy - a violent group of Belters in black-market military ships - has crippled the Earth and begun a campaign of piracy and violence among the outer planets. The colony ships heading for the 1,000 new worlds on the far side of the alien ring gates are easy prey, and no single navy remains strong enough to protect them. James Holden and his crew know the strengths and weaknesses of this new force better than anyone.

I just can't stop listening to this series and I dread for the day when the last book is released.
Story is obviously taking place in the same universe as the previous books but this time centered around Earth, Mars and the belt. We learn a lot more about the back story of the main characters while they are all on their separate journeys for the first part of the book.
I liked it even though you can kind of guess the ending quite early.
On to the next one!

This book is a bit different from the others since the crew goes on different journeys where we get to learn about their past lives. It's nice to get some backstory and also to not have all four of them on a ship the whole book. Like with every previous book I'll just jump straight to the next one!

Revisado: 11-03-18
I saw the first two seasons of The Expanse on Netflix but didn't realise how great the books were. This book continues the story outside of one of the rings and as always you can expect action, drama, love and heroes rising to the occasion.
I'll just continue with book five right now!
