Loved It

The writing surprised me in a good way. The delivery by the performance sealed the deal. This is a great Military sci-fi. I listen to a lot of this genre. It's hard to pin point anyone outstanding part of the book. Just great writing!

Captivating story that is full of action and movement through this world builder. It might help to slow down the Audio just slightly if you are doing passive active listening and hate to miss any details. This speaker goes a little fast in their reading versus others. I've listened to around 120 books on here. I read a handful of reviews stating they were confused about the story....just slow down the Audio slightly my friends. It was an awesome series!

I scour the sci-fi section for worthwhile "space opera" series. If you are a sci-fi junky that appreciates detail and sci-fi with action, dynamic sub plots, twists and turns, and a writer with a strong grasp of the English language. Then you should be happy. I don't know about you but I can't stand dumb downed authors that struggle with commanding the power of the English language through subtleties of detail. If someone doesn't like this book they likely have adhd or shouldn't be reading space sci-fis as it's a bit of a niche lack imagination.

my only issue is the author sometimes has confusing descriptions or little to no healthy transitions for new events when he jumps into a new scene there is a slight loss of context. But the story and character development is great and worth a listen if you like good sci-fi.

Riddled with a lack of plot cohesion

The lack of explanations and plot/character development, and jumping to things that are assumed and not fully explained/relevant/properly described.....even in book 1 makes this series unbearable to listen to. The performance is good but not the story and method.
