This might be one of the best books I have read in a long long time if not ever. Make no mistake it’s long! But wow. What a fabulous story line, great characters and a wonderful world that Meyer created. Love love love

I could not love this book

This book had been on my wish list for years. I so badly wanted to love this book. I just couldn’t. I returned the book after the apology chapter. It broke me illusion that this would be good book. It is well narrated and an interesting concept. But that’s about it. I am devastated. It’s like being in love with the idea of something and realizing that the reality is nothing like what you thought you were getting into.

What a let down

When this book popped up in the daily deal email it sounded great! I thought I have just scored the bargain of the year.... I didn't, if you actually pay money for this book you have paid too much.

I am unable to finish this book and it breaks me to leave a book half finished. The story line itself isn't bad - I am almost sure it would make a better movie than book. The story does not flow and I find the writing erratic as a result it is very challenging to listen to as my mind keeps wondering, listening becomes a chore not an escape.

The silver lining is the narration, the voices are beautifully crafted.

Pleasantly Surprised

This was the first Stephen King that I had read in over 20 years. Initially I could not get enough of his books and consumed them non-stop from our local library, after a while I noticed his pattern and his writing became predictable - in my opinion. This book ... this book was from fresh mold!

This book was a great listen, it took a while to get used to raspy voice but eventually the narration became part of the story and I loved it. Well worth the listen.

The story was constructed beautifully, the suspense lasted, the twists were beautiful, and so well read.

I am not completely convinced of the ending, it felt rushed that then I also hate it when a good book ends - so maybe its me not the book!

Pleasantly suprised, worth the listen

This was a good space filler. The story won't change your life but will keep you occupied during a flight or while cooking dinner. A pretty decent plot twist with actual suspense for a few chapters. Good deal on daily deal.
