A great blessing for those who struggle with assurance
Revisado: 06-16-23
Praise the Lord God for his faithfulness and patience with with his children. Thankful for John MacArthur so clearly pointing to the reality of Gods desire for our assurance and the scriptural basis for it as an overwhelming overflow of the grace of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. MacArthur is compassionate, thorough, and wise in his approach to walk struggling believers to the glories of the gospel. This book is a great blessing to me.

Historia
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. An amazing story of Gods goodness and power even through suffering.
Revisado: 02-04-23
This book challenged my faith and understanding of how God works in and through suffering. That He is faithful even when things don’t go the way we hope/think. He is better still. Seeing the faith and love of Corrie and Betsy in all things was sobering in a world, myself included, that is so self focused.
Gods good news is that he has sent Jesus to suffer and die as we do, to rescue us from a life that lives only for ourselves or this temporary world. Thankful Jesus paid it all, and all he asks is that we believe him.
