Story has potential and holds interest generally as a fun idea, but I wish it was more for adults. I didn’t realize it was a teen romance drama, and it felt a bit facile.

Really only two or three good stories.

Quite a few of the performances were very dragging and banal. The stories were not all that exciting, thank goodness for Simon Vance, Anne Rice, and Bram Stoker.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Graveyard Book to be better than the print version?
The print version has great illustrations, but the audio version is read by the author, Neil Gaiman, himself, so you really get a feel for exactly how he wants it told. Plus, he reads all of the different characters with very distinct voices.
What did you like best about this story?
Spooky and fun! It's a very moving and creative mirror to "The Jungle Book."
Liza Hempstock is certainly one of my favourite characters. Loved the relationship that stems between Bod and Miss Lupescu as well.
Which scene was your favorite?
I definitely loved all of the scenes with the Slear. The Dance Macabre scene is also really fascinating and lovely.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The whole story was a very moving adventure, but the knowledge that the main character gains about the beauty of life in the end of the book is brilliant. The song that it sung to him at the end, is really touching.
