I wasn’t sure about the sound effects but they aren’t distracting, they actually enhance the listening experience. I’m hoping that the rest of the series is done like this. I was quite entertained and enjoyed this audiobook.

Dual narration is messed up

When female narration is happening the male dialogue is missing and it’s the same when the male narrator has their POV chapters the females dialogue is missing. There is a lot of clicking that marks where duel dialogue is supposed to happen. The edit on this is lacking!!! *update* I returned Mark Me and will wait to see if this gets fixed, I will repurchase then.

So much spice with the plot

This series is sooooo spicy. The relationships within this series is so loving. The interpersonal relationships are written well. Love love love this series. But the most surprising part to me was the fact there’s a part that takes place in my hometown. It threw me for a loop to hear my podunk town being mentioned.

This draws you in….

It just keeps taking you along a beautiful story, the ups and downs. The heartache, is such a slow burn to where it leads to so emotional releases. The epilogues are so cleansing. So from start to finish you are transported into a glimpse of beautiful bonds.

Slow burn, but enjoyed the listen

I’m not a fan of slow burn but this I enjoyed. When I read this story I was in a reading slump and this story pulled me out. So when it came out on audible, I just had to get it. I look forward to the second part.

Love the story not the narration

I loved this story when I read it, but the narration is lacking to the point I couldn’t finish it. There is little to no inflection, you’re unable to differentiate between characters. The one thing I disliked the most was “End of chapter…” after each chapter and it messed up the flow of the story.
