Historia
In a world full of superpowers, Felix had a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns and to upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper; almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points. Investing in, owning, and using Super Heroes and Super Villains, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

so far I'm a few hours in and it has really gone back to how super sale should be with less of the gratuitous adult hugging. that just felt out of place for this character in this series

great book but diverging from the series spirit
Revisado: 03-10-23
first of all spoilers also I'm dyslexic so use a speech to text punctuations all over the place yada yada.
book is good don't get me wrong narration amazing as always. love Felix love is Powers love the change. do not like how that this is pretty much morphing towards a wild wastes book I would like it to stay more on the hinted at but not focused around bedroom Sports. if they just cut down the amount of implied sex scenes or how much they talk about having sex the book would flow much better. it really pulls you out of the moment when they're running this crucial operation that they cannot mess up and they keep getting sidetracked to talk about taking someone to the bedroom it was just frustrating at times. it needs to go back to how it used to be but this is just my own opinion

performance can't save this story
Revisado: 11-14-22
these people are supposed to be gamers but none of them have even tried it again to the system and see what features it has. also they just keep making stupid decisions that just doesn't make sense. you know a guy is tracking your companion and can find them wherever you go so you have a confrontation with them and then just let them get away constantly. all these characters are just stupid. side note the authors have no idea what 10 and 12-year-olds are like in reality makes them talk like they're three or four.
only upside performance is great narrator always does a superb job but I can't save this book series

Historia
Gaining strength as he moves through the galaxy, Zade is beginning to get a feel for his new ship and crew. Although his main purpose is to find Earth so he can help protect them from forces like the Unity and Domain, the enormity of his task has started to wear on him. A broken and barely understandable radio signal pulls him and the crew from their slump. Can Anne triangulate the location of Earth? How long has it been since he got taken? What will he find when he gets there? Zade has to grapple with those questions as he makes a beeline for home.

the author really needs to keep better track
Revisado: 10-25-22
okay caveat I'm only a couple hours into this one and this is what I found so far. narration good not the best I've ever heard but definitely a good narrator. the author kind of Smashes in to the story why they completely forgot the Nano box and the last book it's a little Annoying the quick explanation would have been fine. now to my biggest gripe and why this book will not pass four stars at maximum. the author more than one occasion forgets information or just adds things that does not make sense for the story. characters show up where they shouldn't be. I think I caught two different name changes for characters . personalities of main characters changed on the fly with no real Rhyme or Reason. this author would really benefit from getting a decent editor. sorry for the run on paragraph or whatever doing this on my phone at work

the story really took a nose d i v e
Revisado: 10-25-22
so Nanobots are no longer a thing. they just kind of disappeared and they did really talk about them after like the 4th and 5th chapter of this book. the characters have gone down and intelligence and just do the stupidest things to push a non-plot forward. the whole book expensive one star system after he leaves the core oh I need to get home to find my people I'm going to spend this entire book helping a mining dispute. such a waste of a series

He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned. The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face. Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

only have one criticism
Revisado: 08-08-22
okay let's get the criticism. over the last two books it's just become so convoluted. to the point you have to seriously pay attention multiple chapters kind of feel like it's just messy word salad to try to make things seem like they make sense.
other than that I love this book series love the main character the narrator is the right choice everything else works.
please go back to the form of the earlier books there's more focused

Imagine being the only human left on an Earth occupied by monsters, aliens, and worse. Sounds terrible? Well...it's not so bad when you are an introverted battle junkie like me. Honestly, I was almost starting to appreciate being left behind while everyone else was given the chance to prepare for the mess Earth had gotten itself into. On a side note, it turns out I'm pretty good at hunting monsters. Though dragons and such are a bit out of my league. Just a bit. I survived dozen-something kobolds that wanted me dead, and now it's time to pay back their leader.

author does not know how to Pace books
Revisado: 08-08-22
we are two books in and I believe it is only the third or fourth day by the end of the next book we might be done with a week. but I'm guessing the next book's going to take place over like 2 hours. this would work fine as a mangwa but as a book it is going way too slow.
also the main character is not that likeable. his social Hang-Ups are just weird and do not come across how I think the author intended them to. also waiting for the last chapter to introduce actual character growth and a good plot is kind of a slap in the face the readers or in this case listeners..
in all actuality the first two books should have been merged into one and a lot of the filler to be cut out because this is not worth two credits together it would be barely worth one

it just drags a lot
Revisado: 08-08-22
first of all narration amazing. now on to the problems I have. this book drags it is Meandering with not a lot happening. on top of that it makes almost no sense. even if I suspend my disbelief this still makes no sense. the plot goes around in circles like it starts doing something interesting then nope it flips it back around to being boring.
I have about 8 hours left and I'm struggling to finish this book. this is one of only two sound booth theater books I have that I'm kind of regretting buying. I won't be picking up the next book because it will be a miracle if I can force myself to finish this one
okay the last 5 hours was good like if the whole book was like it would easily become one of my favorite audiobooks but it's too little too late

average
Revisado: 05-18-22
okay I'll get this out of the way first. the new narrator is okay does an adequate job. it seems bad because we went from an excellent to an average narrator.
now on to the book it's average. nothing really jumps out and grabs your attention. kind of a weak point in the series every serious has to have at least one
