Historia
A Tale of Two Cities is a story of love, mystery, suspense, and action all rolled up into one beautifully written novel taking place in two prominent cities, Paris and London, during the French Revolution. The story follows the release and rehabilitation of Dr. Manette, a man falsely imprisoned in the Bastille in France for almost two decades. While trouble is brewing in France with citizens being starved and taxed to death, Dr. Manette is taken to London by Mr. Lorrie, a prominent business man, and Lucie, Dr. Manette's daughter.

narrator reads so fast!
Revisado: 09-29-18
This is one of my favorite books. It is a pretty difficult read, but totally worth it. I had high hopes for the audio version, but the narrator reads so fast that it makes it hard to follow. I will look for a different narrator for this book.

Historia
What happens when a nineteen-year-old boy leaves home and heads into the jungles to evangelize a murderous tribe of South American Indians? For Bruce Olson, it meant capture, disease, terror, loneliness, and torture. But what he discovered through trial and error has revolutionized the world of missions. Bruchko, which has sold more than 300,000 copies worldwide, has been called "more fantastic and harrowing than anything Hollywood could concoct."

Amazing account
Revisado: 09-17-18
An inspiring account of building relationships and letting God work in His amazing way. Bruce Olson could be considered a foolish youngster who followed a whim to a dangerous place and then didn’t learn his lesson after all he suffered during his first jungle experience. However, this amazing young man chose to follow what he knew to be God’s will...sometimes he had to hit wall after wall before going in the direction God wanted...Bruce’s honest account of his feelings of inadequacy and frustration with the lack of initial progress was refreshing. His loss and heartache was so sad, but the fruit that God allowed to come of all of Bruce’s situations was truly amazing. This is a must read.
