This book follows the journey of an Ohio native from birth throughout adulthood. It recalls many of her memories and lessons throughout her life that has given her an understanding of how she thinks and who she is today. It explains transparently some of the mistakes she's made on her journey, in hopes of keeping others from making the same ones. It poses a real-life take on the basic principles she was taught, and how she has lived by some and let others fall by the wayside. This story will connect you to some of the similar foundations and beliefs that some hold true.

it's crazy how I experience most of these stories being that I am the writers the blood brother, but still I learned some from this book about myself and my family. it was so interesting going down memory lane from the perspective of another person. this book is interesting and informative on topics such as motherhood and marriage. A great read!

This is a great story that is filled with wisdom throughout! I loved the autobiography style of it combined with the many authors and wise people that was referenced in the book!
