Historia
She was just an ordinary mortal...until death catapulted her into a seductive world she never imagined. "You're dead" is so not what Allie Watson wants to hear. Unfortunately, it explains a lot. Like the dark, angelically handsome man who ferried her to this strange, hidden land. The last thing she remembers is stepping off a curb in front of a cross-town bus. Now she's surrounded by gorgeous fallen angels with an unfortunate taste for blood---and they really don't want her around. Not exactly how she pictured heaven.

I really like it!
Revisado: 07-29-19
At first it was a bit slow but then I got really into it. I loved the relationship between Allie and Raziel though I wish it they would have gotten a more lovey dovey with each other. But overall it was good.

Historia
In 1518, in a small town in Alsace, Frau Troffea began dancing and didn't stop. She danced until she was carried away six days later, and soon 34 more villagers joined her. Then more. In a month more than 400 people had been stricken by the mysterious dancing plague. In late-19th-century England an eccentric gentleman founded the No Nose Club in his gracious townhome - a social club for those who had lost their noses, and other body parts, to the plague of syphilis for which there was then no cure.

Amazing
Revisado: 05-10-19
It was my teacher for the whole duration of the book. everything was so interesting. There were some stuff I already knew but it gave me new information on those subjects; like the Spanish flu and how it wasn't just in war camps. if you like learning about diseases this book is for you. Though, I must say the author can be quite sassy but since both her and I share similar ethical standing I found it quite amusing and enjoyable.

Historia
Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.

Amazing, so informative!
Revisado: 04-06-19
Love it! If you are like me who loves to learn about the body and what it does this book is for you. If you thought the gut was just an organ that got you all the nutritional value out of food and then discarded the rest you would be wrong and this book provides an astonishing amount of in-depth information of all the great and wonderful things your gut does for you. After this book I became so much more health conscious about what I eat and in a good way not in a food-nazi kind of way. Highly recommend!
