Great book, not a fan of the new narrator

I love everything about the series. I loved the original female narrator. The new narrator sucks in a loud breath of air at the end of every sentence like she is winded. It is really distracting and makes it hard to pay attention to what she is actually saying. I really hope they re-record with the first narrator

Poorly written and unlikable MMC

I tried so hard to give this book a chance because everyone was going crazy for it. The MMC rescues children and women from trafficking and even reacts with rage when a woman in a "gentleman's club" is hurt and afraid. However, he finds it completely acceptable to stalk, terrify and S.A. the MFC. He treats her like crap while telling her that she is his future. He has empathy for others and is deranged and unhinged when it comes to her. I cannot stress enough how much this guy gives me the ick. Thanks to this book, I never want another guy to call me "baby" or give me red roses again.

Great story/not my favorite narrators

So I really liked this book as well as the first book in the series. It has a good story line and some decent spice. I already liked the main male character of the story due to him already being in the first book. However, it took a while for me to warm up to the main female character, but I did. The author definitely has a grasp of old school fae lore. I look forward to the rest of the series
