Historia
It was a glittering event full of A-listers, hosted by Eliza Lane and Brant Fitzhugh, a celebrity couple who’d conquered both Hollywood and Broadway. And now Eve Dallas has made her entrance—but not as a guest. After raising a toast, Fitzhugh fell to the floor and died, with physical symptoms pointing to cyanide, and the police have crashed the party. From all accounts, he wasn’t the kind of star who made enemies. Everyone loved him—even his ex-wife. And since the champagne cocktail that killed him was originally intended for Eliza, it’s possible she was the real target.

Keep Writing - Great Series
Revisado: 03-27-23
Eve Dallas is a colorful character, sometimes a bit too colorful. I don't think anyone cusses as much as she does and I think it would be nice to tone that part down a notch. The most irritating part is her insisting on being referred to as "Sir". She doesn't mind being treated like a woman by her husband. I love the narration. Peabody got on my nerves a bit when I first started listening, but she has grown on me and is probably my favorite character. This particularly story line had an interesting twist. I can't wait for the next book. I didn't start reading from the beginning, but I can tell how much her character has grown.

Revisado: 01-20-23
I love this series and I am not a fan of "futuristic" story lines. I would like to see Eve clean up her mouth a little; I do get a bit tired of her constant cussing. And I never understood the calling her "Sir". As she evolves in her life with friends and family, it's amusing how she interacts. I love Peabody, although when I first started listening, she got on my nerves a bit, but she has grown on me tremendously. She and Eve are Ying and Yang. I just don't think it adds anything when Eve has to cuss a blue streak in each and every conversation.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Overrated
Revisado: 07-23-22
They storyline dragged for me. The description of the marshlands, references to nature were beautifully written. But the narrator got on my nerves a bit. Some of her accents sounded the same for several characters. The last part about the trial and the ending were intriguing. I probably would have appreciated it more by reading the book rather than listening to it. Not a keeper for me if I’m looking for more mystery.

The story line was really out there. Not really what I expected. It will be great if you love sci-fi. I’ll re-read the Private series. All of those were far better.

Outlandish

I loved this book! It was entertaining, educational, funny and emotional. I loved Diana's intro. I wish she would narrate her books. Nothing against Davina Porter, but I quit listening to the audio books and got the ebooks to read. For me, listening to the guys is easier. They can do different voices better (listen to the Harry Potter books for example). Diana said this is like 4 books in one and she was right. It's a buddy book. I hope they do more of them and narrate them themselves. Maybe this style isn't for everyone, but it sure worked for me. Loved it.

The book sounds like it was written exactly the way he talks. It was very entertaining and very informative about the farming in Amish communities. I hope you write another book.

A beautiful tribute to a son from a father. What incredible lives you have led. I don’t think I fully understood the concept of a keystone species until I started watching the show as when it first aired. Steve’s enthusiasm was definitely catching. I hope all the grandchildren come to appreciate where it all started.
