the super bass voice the male narrator used for Asher was ott. Also, for this being a duet, not enough really happened in the first part. It really should have been one book, with the riser have being edited better. Also, Reina was a bit much, demanding that people forgive her for things she has done, just because she didn't remember them and was a different person now. I've read about seven of Rina Kent's books, and this is the weakest and least enjoyable one to date.

Talia Hibbert's Brown sisters trilogy is so funny that I almost peed myself with laughter in several occasions, and the sexiness factor is off the charts. Chloe is snarky, sweet, and smart, and Redford is DELICIOUS. The narrator is great, and her "Redford" voice makes me question my sexuality.

Pretty good overall, but this was a reminder for me to avoid Muffy Newton narrations. Her voices are good, but the weird gasp she takes after almost every sentence is super annoying.

The twist this series has taken to focus so much on the e-psy characters is getting tiresome. The hurt feelings and being overwhelmed and self pity and guilt are magnified times a hundred when filtered through this group, and coupled with the downtrodden tone of voice that the narrator uses for the female main character is annoying. I wanted to give up about six hours in when I discovered that there was another six hours to go. I don't like the female mc, and don't think I'll finish this one, which is unfortunate because the non e-psy characters from previous books are super amusing.

the performance and writing were good, but the plot was SUPER WEAK. The whole angst about the brother made the brother seem weird, and as things escalated it made the main guy come across as VERY weak, and the sister as also lacking a backbone. It was like the entire world revolved around the brother, and by the time everything was sorted out, I didn't care how close any of these people were to each other or how the mix up occurred and went so far for so long. Overall it's not a complete waste of a listen, but the years these characters wasted for no good reason made for very little satisfaction at the end, no matter how sweet the million epilogue like chapters were.

The main female main character was so pathetic that I couldn't finish the book, which was sad because the female narrator was excellent. I get the idea of learning to stand up for yourself being a process, but I just cannot with her after what happens with her dress. I'm done.

I got bad vibes in the first five minutes of the book with the main character's friend trying to start something with some "thug Crip wannabes" who were minding their own business, and them being described as "slinking off". The incident didn't only make the main character's friend seem like a jerk, but also the main character himself. I didn't understand why the group of what was probably going to be the only black people in the book had to be criminals, and cowardly ones on top of it.

good story but the male narrator was annoying. He made all the female characters sound stupid and annoying. would have preferred the female narrator did the whole book of because she even did really well with the male voices.

Amy is annoying. I didn't like how she REALLY wanted to be a journalist, but didn't really move with any integrity with her pieces. I wanted to like the book, but couldn't. I ended up disliking her almost as much as I disliked Mia and her bratty ways.
