Speech Impediment
Revisado: 04-26-23
Marion has a speech impediment. He often runs over words. If you slow down the listening experience, then you can hear. Those are excellent points, and I just hoped that he spoke slower. He gets away with it on Youtube because you can see his lips as he's saying what he's saying, but it doesn't work on audible.

Historia
A soul-stirring new musical conceived by New York Times best-selling novelist Jodi Picoult and playwright Timothy Allen McDonald, Breathe places listeners inside the walls of five homes during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Filled with songs and vignettes that examine new relationships, rekindling flames, parenting, racial reckoning, and grief during a pandemic, this incredibly timely world premiere—written and produced online in 2020 in real-time as events unfolded—reflects the very topics that weighed on the hearts and minds of Americans.

This was brilliantly performed and came together to make one story in the end. Not only that, it was relevant to what happened during a scary time for many people.

Historia
With his now-legendary store on 125th Street in Harlem, Dapper Dan pioneered high-end streetwear in the 1980s, remixing classic luxury-brand logos into his own innovative, glamorous designs. But before he reinvented haute couture, he was a hungry boy with holes in his shoes, a teen who daringly gambled drug dealers out of their money, and a young man in a prison cell who found nourishment in books. In this remarkable memoir, he tells his full story for the first time.

Surprisly Good
Revisado: 08-24-21
I was surprised by how great this book was. I really like hearing famous people interact with each other. I like to hear that he really didn't get along with LL Cool J and stories of Mike Tyson. The narration was excellent by Omari Hardwick. It's great to hear an actor bring a page to life.

After working her way up as an intern, she burst on the scene as a young female jock whose on-air "Battle of the Beats" segment broke records and became a platform for emerging artists like a young Jay Z. Angie quickly became known for intimate, high-profile interviews, mediating feuds between artists, and taking on the most controversial issues in hip-hop.

Incredible
Revisado: 08-24-21
I knew that I was going to like the book instead; I love it. I'm not from New York; however, she explained everything so detailed that I remembered the history like yesterday. Another thing I like is that she named dropped; it makes the story easier to understand and listen to. In some books, I'm like, oh, you don't want to say the person's name that you dated.

I don't know how I got through this book, but I did. I felt that the book was predictable and the only character that got me through the book was the 4 year old toddler.

Beautiful. Willful. Charming. Blunt. Grace Coddington’s extraordinary talent and fierce dedication to her work as creative director of Vogue have made her an international icon. Known through much of her career only to those behind the scenes, she might have remained fashion’s best-kept secret were it not for The September Issue, the acclaimed 2009 documentary that turned publicity-averse Grace into a sudden, reluctant celebrity. Grace’s palpable engagement with her work brought a rare insight into the passion that produces many of the magazine’s most memorable shoots.

Revisado: 06-29-21
I really appreciated this book, and you can tell that she was frank. I bet that it was hard for her not to name drop especially because 90 percent of the people she knows are famous. I will say this she positive about Andre Talley, and in my opinion, he did not do the same in his book about her. The fact that she 70yrs old and is still working in such a competitive field is amazing.
