Historia
Now that Leland’s decided to give up his life as a hitman and take a walk on the mild side, we’ve been enjoying a simple life of taking down bad guys the legal way. I didn’t know he would be just as reckless as a PI, but it’s not my fault if I happen to enjoy helping him hunt down the occasional criminal. If only I could keep the house from being overrun by Leland’s gun shrine - or stop him from making our cases “more exciting” by terrorizing people into confessing. Overall, life seems perfect, right? Wrong.

Presentation is childish
Revisado: 01-06-18
I’ve listened to many books on Audible and this so far is the worst. Mostly for the readers performance. They voices of the characters are one butch the rest childish in nature. The voices sound like they were all read as each voice then spliced into the correct location. Where you would expect emotion there is non just read text in a voice. The story is ok but for a Dom/sub book it’s a bit basic. Maybe the remaining books are better in content but if the reader is the same I’ll likely not buy them.

Build up for a quick ending...goes nowhere
Revisado: 09-26-16
I enjoyed most of this book, read well and the story was riveting in many places. But the ending seems like a quick must finish book for publisher who suddenly gave an end date to finish.

Historia
The Goldfinch is a haunted odyssey through present-day America and a drama of enthralling force and acuity. It begins with a boy. Theo Decker, a 13-year-old New Yorker, miraculously survives an accident that kills his mother. Abandoned by his father, Theo is taken in by the family of a wealthy friend. Bewildered by his strange new home on Park Avenue, disturbed by schoolmates who don't know how to talk to him, and tormented above all by his unbearable longing for his mother, he clings to one thing that reminds him of her: a small, mysteriously captivating painting that ultimately draws Theo into the underworld of art.

Very long winded
Revisado: 06-03-15
This book is very descriptive and that makes it very long and makes you want it to continue at some point. The Las Vegas part was way to long. Had very little to do with the story but friendship and loss. This could have been a fifteen hour book just with the story but excessive descriptions and small tangents made it so very long.
