Historia
Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan are searching for the house of their dreams. But when they visit the remote manor that once belonged to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a renowned psychiatrist who vanished without a trace four years earlier, a violent winter storm traps them at the estate… with no chance of escape until the blizzard comes to an end. Enjoyed the fun ending! Not bad but not great either. Still fun though! I enjoyed the little twists and turns. But pretty predictable.

Historia
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

Historia
On an ordinary Monday morning, Ariel Cafferty's phone buzzes with a disturbing text message. Something’s happened. I need to see you. Meet me under the candelabra tree ASAP. The words would be jarring from anyone, but the sender is the only man she ever loved. And it's been several years since she learned he died. Seeing Drew’s name pop up is heart-stopping. Ariel’s gut says it can’t be real. But she goes to the tree anyway. She has to. Nobody shows.

Simon and Vicky couldn’t seem more normal: a wealthy Chicago couple, he a respected law professor, she an advocate for domestic violence victims. A stable, if unexciting marriage. But one thing’s for sure: absolutely nothing is what it seems. The pair are far from normal, and one of them just may be a killer. When the body of a beautiful socialite is found hanging in a mansion in a nearby suburb, Simon and Vicky’s secrets begin to unravel. A secret whirlwind affair. A twenty-million-dollar trust fund about to come due.

I loved the twists in the book! Initially it feels very YOU like (the Netflix tv show) even kinda sounds like Joe haha but it’s soooo good and definitely worth the read.

Historia
The perfect neighborhood can be the perfect place to hide… Who wouldn’t want to live in Brighton Hills? This exclusive community on the Oregon coast is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty. Stunning houses nestle beneath mighty Douglas firs, and lush backyards roll down to the lakefront. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another. Sometimes a little too closely…

Keep listening!!
Revisado: 10-01-24
The first 10 min are HARD to listen to and almost deterred me from the book, but the narrator does a FENOMENAL job once ur in the weeds of the book. You really can’t turn it off. It was exceptionally read and very well written. 10/10 recommend

Historia
Emma Carpenter lives in isolation with her golden retriever Laika, house-sitting an old beachfront home on the rainy Washington coast. Her only human contact is her enigmatic old neighbor, Deek, and (via text) the house’s owner, Jules. One day, she reads a poorly written—but gruesome—horror novel by the author H. G. Kane, and posts a one-star review that drags her into an online argument with none other than the author himself. Soon after, disturbing incidents start to occur at night.

Holy wow!
Revisado: 04-29-24
This was one of the best books I’ve read/listened to in a while. So good I’m going to have to pick up a hard copy to play around with the chapters and how they read when read by the individual character alone! Mysteries are usually pretty predictable to me, and although I saw some things, the overall story was just amazing. Definitely not amateur! I cannot recommend enough. It was phenomenal.

AMAZING
Revisado: 02-26-21
Unfortunately the bad reviews are up front, but this book was amazing. There are definitely some dragged on scenes, but the plot is lovely. This book had me yelling "No! Stop!" and "Wait...ITS THEM!....well maybe....ummm maybe not" I absolutely loved it. So glad I ignored the bad reviews because it was amazing. As Erin *main character* would say "it was freaking mental!"

Great narration, character gets annoying.
Revisado: 02-09-21
The books are good books but nothing more. The narration is absolutely amazing, but the main character is quite naive. Her naïveté makes the story long and makes the reader pretty much roll their eyes. I like the book and it has wonderful imagery and character development but I won’t be reading the third as the books are quite repetitive.
