good story, too short

I like Mark Cain's circle of hell books, and I found the concept entertaining, and thought provoking. That being said, I believe there could have been more meat to this story. it seemed too short to truly encompass all of the potential stories that could come from chaos being unleashed in hell. it was nice to see cameos by the other character, but a bit disjointed. good story though, for what there was.

While the story was good, and begs for.more, especially the connection between Lucy Gray and the hanging tree song and how it came to Katniss. I hope this is the first of a series of hunger games histories.

I listened to the story, but it was like enduring a complete cast change on your favorite soap; you want to see where it goes, bit can't deal with the replacements. Very disappointed in the lack of performance, the voice characterizations made no sense, and the was no life to the reading.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
The narrator's pronunciations were atrocious. It would help if she had listened to any of the previous recordings. Character voices were inconsistent and, at times, sounded forced and stilted.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The Griffins, because I like Griffins.
Would you be willing to try another one of Karen White’s performances?
No. I will go back to the printed volumes for the remaining 2 books.
Did Winds of Fate inspire you to do anything?
No.
Any additional comments?
The narrators and "director/producers" need to consult with the author, and listen to any previously recorded works, so that consistency between productions are maintained.
