Historia
When adoptee Lucille Jones comes to town researching her roots, Betsy Devonshire notices that she bears a remarkable resemblance to local Jan Henderson. Betsy introduces the look-alikes and they quickly hit it off. But then Jan's wealthy great-aunt is found dead, helped to her grave by a stiff metal wire—a double-zero knitting needle, in fact. Just like the kind Jan knits with.

The narrator’s voice is awful.
Revisado: 02-29-24
I hate to leave a bad review for a series that I love. The narrator for this book was so bad that I couldn’t even get through the first couple of chapters of this book. Susan Boyce does such an amazing job. Please have it re recorded with Susan’s voice. I was interested in the story line but just couldn’t listen.

Historia
There’s a bad new cat in sleepy little Molena Point: a renegade tom with a penchant for robbery, a scorn for his fellow felines, and a disdain for human laws. And he’s masterminding a crime spree that’s quickly escalating toward murder most foul. Dulcie and Joe Grey both know the score - they’ve seen Azrael in action. But how can they expose the criminal without letting ordinary, untrustworthy humans in on the secret that certain select cats can think - and talk? Cats like them…

Love this series and this is my favorite one so far.
Revisado: 07-11-23
I started reading this series because I love the narrator and read most things she narrates. The beginning of book 1 was a little confusing to me because I couldn’t understand the premise. However, I’m now totally hooked and love their little world.
After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant because of 2 negative comments. However, after listening to this book, I think it is my favorite in the series so far. Can’t wait to listen to the next book.

Historia
Young widow Penelope Thornton-McClure and her old Aunt Sadie are making ends meet by managing a mystery book shop - a quaint Rhode Island landmark rumored to be haunted. Pen may not believe in ghosts, but she does believe in good publicity - like nabbing Timothy Brennan for a book signing. But soon after the bestselling thriller writer reveals a secret about the store's link to a 1940s murder, he keels over dead - and right in the middle of the store's new community events space. Who gives Mrs. McClure the first clue that it was murder?

The beginning confused me but glad I kept listening
Revisado: 10-21-22
I was a little confused by the male narrator at the beginning of the book but so glad I stuck with it. This story was a lot of fun to listen to and I liked the voices. Excited to listen to more in the series.

Awful narrator!
Revisado: 10-14-22
All other Murder She Wrote audiobooks I’ve listened to on audible have been read by Cynthia Darlow, who sounds very similar to Angela Landsbury and does an amazing job with character voices in general, esp Seth’s. Unfortunately, Beth Porter narrates this book and was a huge disappointment to me. I can’t really rate the book because the character voices were just horrible.
