Yep. His other books get better but “he said and she said” accounts for a full 25% of the audiobook. Since the reader is doing male and female voices, he should’ve just not said that. I know that’s a editorializing but it would’ve made everything so much better.

Overall, it is a very good story captivating. Lots of plot twists. There are a few cringe moments during the book and you could just skip the last chapter as it is overly cringe. Everybody has to bow to “the message”. I wonder if the editor of publisher asked to add the cringe moments because overall it’s a great book, but recommend you skip that last chapter.

Lots of fun and twists and turns and music. Can't ask for more. Very well acted and fun to binge the whole thing. Went by fast.

Rated based on young adult type story

This is a really good young adult story series. If you suspend disbelief then you'll love it's characters and message. The other reviewer for this stopped at 4 episodes and said it made fun of the mentally ill people, far from it, it is very accurate and cares about people with metal issues. I would recommend for all young adults. If you are a conservative they do make fun of you a lot, just suck it up as it is a good story overall.

Good book, just ignore the PC crap

Getting more and more PC trying to pander to his no existant female and SJW audience. If you can look past all that crap, it's pretty good. Maybe someone said he needs more women if he expects a movie deal? Maybe they said he needs Joe to be amore emotional sobby wreck? Who knows? If so, he should start a Jane Ledger series... Performance is solid as always.

Good book. Kept me very interested till it got monotonous at the end. The book reminds me of Replay by Ken Grimwood and the Sliders TV show.

it really tries to pull on the Heartstrings with this and I discovered that I didn't have any Heartstrings. otherwise, it's a really good zombie story.

Very interesting story

Was quite good although it did drag a little here and there. Funny at parts too. Best part for me was pushing carts in the Walmart parking lot while listening to it being used as a point of interest in the story... won't way any more. Completely meta for me. Lot's of very well developed characters and all are believable and three dimensional. Will listen again in future.

Best book in a while

In a book where I hate the main character so much, probably because he is as almost exactly like me, I love the book. Hope nobody reads any of these reviews before reading it. I am glad I just bought it and listened on just the strength of the sample. Since I share the same major flaw as the main character I am sure it would have been spoiled by other people's opinions.
