Amazing story!!! Had me hooked from beginning to the End!. Although I wanted to smack Reuben a couple times it didn’t ruin my enjoyment of the whole story

I love the Wescotts!

This is another wonderful addition to the series. Such a beautifully told story. Both characters are delightful and easy to empathize with. Justin’s step mum was despicable and I kept waiting for her daughter to realize that. Mary Balogh was in her bag for this series. I’ve read majority of them, my favorites are Someone to wed, someone to care, someone to romance and someone to cherish.

Great Book!!!

I really can’t believe I let a few cheesy contemps ruin the genre for me. This is really a great book with understanding characters. I just love Eli and I was always rooting for Gideon. It probably also helps that I haven’t read Milos book. This book also has a binding HEA that is everything. I like to know my couples are still happy years after.

A wonderful delight

I can’t believe I had this in my wishlist and I just now read it!! What a great book! Incredible. The story was so subtle and beautifully beautifully done. I love that even when I was mad at Will for not ‘getting his ass out of his head’ I was made to realize that of course he needed some help cause his beginnings were so messed up and that was so beautifully shown. Just amazing please read!!!

I definitely waited too long to read this. I enjoyed the perspective this story is told from and both characters were delightful. No miscommunications, meanness from any side. Any hist rom fan would enjoy this

A lot more than just Romance

I’m a hist rom addict but I veered into this contemporary and I wasn’t disappointed. It is a well written story and I wasn’t bored at any point. I enjoyed reading about that time period before cellphones were a common thing lol. I just wasn’t ready for the dead body count in this book. The romance kinda seemed insta like one minute they were enemies and the next they were lovers. I wish I got more of them falling in love. The suspense was the star of the book. That can make or break the book for some 🤷🏽‍♀️. I enjoyed it even if I like to feel the feels and there wasn’t a lot of that.

Biggest Smile while reading

This book made me happy smile
It was soo well written. I wasn’t left to overlook some parts cause the whole thing was beautiful. I won’t lie I was a bit anxious about her withholding her past from Hugh. I loved that from the beginning we could tell Hugh was also Interested In her. I was afraid it’d be a hit and miss but I definitely enjoyed it more than the first one.

She deserved more

I actually loved the story and it’s probably one of the better plots in the series. But I kept waiting for Knight to deserve her love and to me he never really got there. Fancy was a delight but I wished she realized her worth earlier.
