Historia
Children run through the streets in their Halloween costumes, giggling happily, not noticing the blood on the house is real. A baby girl is tucked up asleep in her room. Her mother’s body lies motionless in the front yard, pink petals on the ground beside her… Arriving in the quiet community of Mulberry Creek, Special Agent Nikki Hunt is shocked that amongst the chaos of costumes and fake, silver spider webs, a new mother called Kiania Watson has lost her life. A blooming rare flower placed carefully in her cold, bound hands.

story is way better than narration
Revisado: 07-27-24
The narrator for this needs to learn how to pronounce common words like filet (its not fill-it) & Chi (it's Greek & not chee) & less common like Aram (AR-um, not air-um). Narrator aside I loved this book! It took a step up from the previous & I did not guess the end.

Historia
Years before the name Alex Murdaugh was splashed across every major media outlet in America, local South Carolina journalist Mandy Matney had an instinct that something wasn’t right in the Lowcountry. The powerful Murdaugh dynasty had dominated rural South Carolina for generations. No one dared to cross them.

This is not the Murdaugh true crime you think it is
Revisado: 06-04-24
If you're looking for a true crime book by the reporter there from the beginning, this isn't it. If you want the reasons why every boss has done her wrong, including the one that gave her the platform she has, this is your book! There's very little true crime, a bunch of "men as bosses suck"
