Historia
Location: north of the Arctic Circle, Population: 150 (mostly men!) But the three O'Halloran brothers, who run a bush-plane charter service called Midnight Sons, are heading a campaign to bring women to town. Sawyer O'Halloran, the middle brother, isn't entirely in favor of this scheme. But he considers himself immune to any woman - even the lovely Abbey Sutherland. She's arriving in Alaska within days. However, there's a complication...or two. She hasn't told them she's arriving with kids!

I’ve always found Debbie Macomber books to be treasures! This Audible production is the same for me. I found myself marveling at how the narrator managed all the different voices of the characters! It was wonderful! I can hardly wait to listen to the next volume. Thank you to the narrator and yo Audible.

Historia
In Try Softer, you'll learn how to: know and set emotional and relational boundaries; make sense of the difficult experiences you've had; identify your attachment style-and how that affects your relationships today; move through emotions rather than get stuck by them; and grow in self-compassion and talk back to your inner critic. Trying softer is sacred work. And while it won't be perfect or easy, it will be worth it. Because this is what we were made for: a living, breathing, moving, feeling, connected, beautifully incarnational life.

This book and the audio in the author’s voice are better than I thought possible. I will be listening again & again. I will be encouraging others to listen or read it. I’m looking forward to doing the exercises. Thank you, Aundi!

I am not perfect is a simple statement of profound truth, the first step toward understanding the human condition, for to deny your essential imperfection is to deny yourself and your own humanity. The spirituality of imperfection, steeped in the rich traditions of the Hebrew prophets and Greek thinkers, Buddhist sages and Christian disciples, is a message as timeless as it is timely. This insightful work draws on the wisdom stories of the ages to provide an extraordinary wellspring of hope and inspiration to anyone thirsting for spiritual growth and guidance in these troubled times.

I enjoyed this book very much and I’m sure I will listen again and again. The narrator’s voice is very soothing and perfect for it.

Historia
Ever have one of those days where life just plain sucks? Welcome to my last three months - ever since I caught my can’t-be-soon-enough-ex-husband cheating with his paralegal. I’m 35 years old, and I’ve lost my NYC apartment, my job, my money, and frankly, my dignity. But the final heartache in the suck sandwich of my life? My great-aunt Maggie died. The only family member who’s ever gotten me. Even after death, though, she’s helping me get back up again. Too bad that bravado only lasts as long as it takes to drive into Huckleberry Hills. And see the house.

I loved this book, this story! It envelopes so many marriages, so many situations that women find themselves in.
I recommend It to any woman who has been in a marriage that has ended in divorce due to waking up spiritually to the realization that the sneaking suspicions are true! Not only the affairs but of the poor treatment received.
The story also gives hope. This book is not only delightful and but needed by many of us. Thank you!
