Would you listen to Rilkey 613 Italian Dialogues again? Why?

This has got to be the most underrated and certainly the cheapest thing I've ever loved.

Who was your favorite character and why?

First, it's in English - so you have time to think of the Italian - then you hear the Italian and just when you think, "Gee, I didn't quite get that" they then repeat it slowly and carefully so you get every work clearly and distinctly.

Have you listened to any of Carlo Consoli and Carmen Luvana ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The narrators are charming - you enjoy listening to them again and again. As if they have a personality - not someone hired by some mass-media company. And every so often some of the English words are (not often) adorably mis-pronounced. eg. "a baked potato" (baked pronounced to rhyme with 'naked' - so it becomes a 'bake-ed' potato ;).

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There is understated humor in 4-5 line dialog that really make me smile. Like:
"I like that actress"
"Which one?"
"The one who is in all the movies."
"Well that doesn't narrow it down very much"
It's not in your face funny or "trying" to be funny (which is always lame when done on purpose) but just amusing in it's own way without trying to be. Really cute. And you learn.

Any additional comments?

Buy this quick before it's removed. And there IS the book in iBooks over at iTunes. The title is almost "hidden" by being called: "613 Italian Dialogues With Audio" It's $14.99 and worth every penny because not only the audio is included in the text but it's looped for each dialog. Go over and have iTunes send you a 'sample' or 'preview' and you'll see what I mean. You won't regret this purchase. (p.s. I also have the German 74 dialogs with text done in the same way).

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This company is the best for audio Italian in the self-development field. Soprattutto mi piace La Chiave Suprema e La Scienza del Diventare Ricchi. It's really helping me with my Italian in a field I love: Self-development. Thank you Area 51 Publishing - ciao dal California dove il sol sempre brilla ;)
