Historia
If you are looking for a practice that promotes your ability to uphold human values and focus on compassion and the oneness of the Universe, try Kundalini Yoga. Often known as laya yoga, or the yoga of awareness, it focuses on awakening the kundalini energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine. Kundalini yoga combines pranayama, meditation, yoga poses, and mantra chanting to awaken this spiritual energy that lies coiled up at the base of your spine. It was developed as a part of tantra alongside hatha yoga.

This information is truly geared for the beginner, and is narrated in a clear and engaging voice. I’m thankful I took a chance and purchased it. It’s a quick listen that manages to impart the necessary background history without belaboring the point.

Historia
Joe Trohman cofounded Fall Out Boy with Pete Wentz in the early aughts, and he’s been the sticky element of the metaphorical glue-like substance holding the band together ever since, over the course of a couple decades that have included massive success, occasional backlashes, and one infamous four-year hiatus. From the guitarist’s very first glimpses of their popular ascension, to working with his heroes like Anthrax’s Scott Ian, to writing for television with comedian Brian Posehn, Trohman takes listeners backstage, into the studio, and onto his couch.

Historia
A Russian author, playwright, and physician, Anton Chekhov is widely considered one of the best short-story writers of all time. Having influenced such writers as Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Carver, and James Joyce, Chekhov’s stories are often noted for their stream-of-consciousness style and their vast number.

Outstanding performance
Revisado: 07-24-22
I would give the reader Anthony Heald ten stars if possible. He performs these stories perfectly, giving them the pathos and hilarity that Chekhov intended. I’ve listened to this multiple times and highly enjoy it.

Actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his roles in the TV sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, delivers Bitter Brew, a compelling mystery featuring Detective Bill Walsh, an upstate cop in the quiet, rural town of Beatriceville, 200 miles north of New York City, who suspects foul play in the death of millionaire city transplant Jonathan Kimball, even though the evidence points to suicide, not murder.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

February 1862. The Civil War is less than one year old. The fighting has begun in earnest, and the nation has begun to realize it is in for a long, bloody struggle. Meanwhile, President Lincoln’s beloved eleven-year-old son, Willie, lies upstairs in the White House, gravely ill. In a matter of days, despite predictions of a recovery, Willie dies and is laid to rest in a Georgetown cemetery. “My poor boy, he was too good for this earth,” the president says at the time. “God has called him home.”

Exceptional prose beautifully depicted
Revisado: 10-06-21
To enjoy this performance to the fullest extent, you’ll need to have read the book first, or at least see the way it is laid out. It should have won the Pulitzer. Once you understand how it’s put together, this is one you’ll want to listen to many times. It’s achingly beautiful and worthy of the highest recommendation.
