I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this book. It was a different take on King Arthur and from the start this book caught my attention and I couldn't put it down. The narrator did a really good job, even though I didn't think I would like a man narrating I ended up not minding at all. I enjoyed all of the books in this series and I do recommend the books.

I loved this book, but....those drums

This book was full of so much action. I absolutely loved it and didn’t want to put it down. I read some reviews and saw the complaint about the drums. At first I didn’t mind them, but when I got the to the end of the book and I was really getting into it and the action the drums were over kill and at points I was screaming at them. I don’t want this to take away from the storyline or the book because it was amazing.

Lots of repeating in this book, but overall I still really enjoyed it.

It got kind of annoying at how many time we had to hear the main character repeat things about herself. We get it and won’t forget, she didn’t need to remind us every other paragraph. However, despite this being annoying about the book, I really did enjoy the story. It was a different story than usual and I really engaged with the characters and their relationships.
