Historia
A moment comes for every addict when the consequences are so great or the pain is so bad that the addict's life becomes out of control because of his or her behavior. Some are news-making moments, such as the public censure when a congressman, minister, general, or professional athlete is cited for unacceptable sexual behavior. For most people those moments are followed by resolves to "never do it again", but somehow after the promise is made, they often find themselves doing something they vowed never to do again. That is addiction.

Great content, very helpful. Narration absolutely terrible!

Book is great, very important self-help tool and guide for someone who struggles with sex addiction.
Normally, I prefer the audio book format, as it allows me to multitask and get some work or work out done while listening to the book. This particular audio book, due its narration, was simply painful to listen to. I will end up buying an actual printed book.
The narrator is way over-animated, especially when quoting various addicts. I found it to be extremely distracting and I almost gave up couple times listening to the end of this audiobook. It's a serious literature, meant to help people, not to entertain as a theatrical drama piece.
Still worth purchasing it though, especially, if reading is not something you normally like to do.
