the narrator performed some of the accents pretty well, even if it differs from Victor Bevine, but the pronunciations of almost all of the names were ridiculously outlandish. some it seemed he went out of his way to say something other than the obvious, and i found myself thinking "come on, man. Salvitore isn't trying to trick you."

This book touched me in ways the author both will never know and somehow knows all too well. Being black in the US, and not the stereotypically black person, it had me in emotional tears from the second chapter. It was a tough read, only because of how much truth hit home, some I knew and some I didn't realize.

I really love this story. totally had me re-download World of Warcraft and FFXIV lol. and I really like how adult scenes are in it, but not at all the focal point, it really shows how talented and down to earth the author is by not depending on sex
