They compared it to Harry Potter, but only the thing I can see is they both are about magic. I don’t like that they insinuate that the siblings will be against each other. Also, two people are dying right from the start. It was well written, but there were no lighthearted moments for me.

Love this series, but…

As much as I enjoy this series, this book almost went backwards. Shelby does things that she did in the first books, taking big chances alone against murderers twice as big as her without a gun or training. This particular book had too many almost murders within hours of each other that she kept walking headfirst into. Once again without telling anyone. I don’t want this series to end, but if she doesn’t get more training and more common sense, I don’t know how much more I would be able to read. Her coming close to death is getting old. There’s gotta be something else that would be fun without being so predictable.

I enjoyed this book until the end. There’s no justice done for the main character. In the end something totally out of the blue happens and the book is over. Does not explain what happened to the main two characters…… very unsatisfying

I have enjoyed this series very much. But I must say Dan with his Boston accent was my favorite character. The narrator did a fabulous job. I laughed quite a bit.

Too much like the blood queen books.

I very much enjoy the narrator but unfortunately even that confused me after listening to blood queen series. Even her inflections were the same as In both series. If you haven’t read the first books, I would recommend that.

At this point I’m beyond tired of her being fought over. I am sure everything will be explained eventually. In the meantime I just want it over. I literally stopped listening to give this review, with four hours to go. I personally don’t feel she’s good enough for any of them, including the vampire. Her being pretrade as loving and caring is doing the exact opposite. She keeps saying how strong she is and yet is constantly over powered by everyone.

Disappointing

This sex book went in such a bizarre direction and didn’t make sense. The whole trip was to find out about her Necromancy. That she excepted five minute meetings and put her guys and yourself in danger was ridiculous. The other Necromancer wanted her gone so bad but didn’t give her the information in one sitting made no sense. The fact that the griffins didn’t come and help when people are being killed and tortured also made no sense. And why leave to go home and deal with it on your own when she will have no help? They’re so happy Ethan is there no one questions he might have been changed? All the rest are dead or being experimented on but no one questioned his return. Then we get left in another cliffhanger. Overall I enjoyed the series but I’m not happy in The way the book is going.

A lot about nothing.

This story has intrigue me since book one. Unfortunately the last few have gotten repetitive. The main character is still everyone’s doormat. Even though she has been the Worlds Savior. She still gets no respect and she still let everyone walk all over her. Not much happens in this book. Not sure I will bother with the last which is very sad because I’ve enjoyed the series.
