Can someone PLEASE help out the narrators with their pronunciations?!

I’ve been trying to hear past the way that these narrators pronounce khui and sakh-khui differently than the narrators of the original IPB series, but come on Felicity! How are you narrating audiobooks and pronouncing a common English word (cliques) wrong?! I was drifting off to sleep listening, and her mispronunciation jerked me awake!

Was a disappointment for me😕

Disappointingly low levels of spice for a story that centered around kinks. I wasn’t expecting Haunting Adeline levels of spice or anything, but so many missed opportunities to add spice scenes in this story, and it dragged forever before it was even addressed by the FMC and MMC. I would say this one is mid to low spice for a Ruby Dixon book, and I’m so bummed because I had been looking forward to getting to this book in the series.

I swear every book in the IPB/Risdaverse universe, I think, ok, this is my favorite couple lol. Can I just say, when Summer is distracting the slavers & they ask her, “how many are there of you?” She’s babbling on & distracting them, pauses, and Warrek says “and me.” Omg, excellent delivery by the narrator. My 😻 was feeling all kind of ways lol. In fact, brb, I’m going to go listen to that part again 🥵

Keff me Adiron🥵

I loved the earlier stories that had a beauty & the beast vibe where the men felt they were too ugly & broken to find love, but I was in love with Adiron’s goofball vibe in this story & his filthy mouth, keff me🌶️🥵

Also, I’m in stitches over the reviewer who was clutching their pearls. I’m not sure how they managed to find this book without realizing what kind of writing Ruby Dixon is known for. If she think Dixon is filthy & degrading, she clearly doesn’t know what else is out there.🤣🤣 Audible better never stop publishing her works. I’m working my way through her entire catalog & loving every filthy moment of it!

I’m in love with Tarek!

Of course all the blue guys worship their women, but there’s something about Tarek. It made me so sad that he thought he was ugly & I’m so happy he found Katrine! I think he’s top three MMC for Ruby Dixon books I’ve listened to so far.
