It was um, creative?
Revisado: 03-17-25
I suppose the underlying plot was creative. But the characters were contrived. But for a short story with an infinitesimal slice of science in the science-fiction it was, published nonetheless.
The story was somewhat decent. The voice performance was pretty good and well executed. I can’t imagine how the voice actor made it through the whole reading.
I think the dialogue was ladled from a vat of conversations with characters who have narcissistic traits and anger issues. It wasn’t outright terrible, and mostly had continuity. I’ve known people who have been in the kind of relationships that were attempted to portray here, and the portrayal was so much surface level in these characters. I suppose that is due to the nature of this trying to be a short story, or reigned in by some word count requirements.

A very enthralling tale.
Revisado: 04-12-17
The continuation of unraveling an ancient woven story is spreading and the characters are becoming more aware of their theological dagma. It's hard to stop listening.
This story adds and weaves in more characters, over a matter of weeks and unfortunately it is an in between arc that leaves you hanging for the next book.
The first book carries through with a goal this one leaves you wondering what goals are and if they could be attainable by the characters. It's like a part one of two. Where the first book stood on it own; this one seems unfinished without the next. Like the author/editors/development team split it in an odd place for an arbitrary reason; probably to sell more books.
