Awesome story behind the best movie ever!

If you are a fan of The Godfather, this is a must listen, it’s long, but then again, so was the movie. The author tells the entire history of the original film including the writing of the book, casting, filming, etc. it’s filled with amazing stories and details about this movie came to fruition. It’s interesting and funny with lots of references to the film that are nostalgic. Definitely was worth my time and money.

Informative and Entertaining

The world inside Goldman Sachs is like no other with many stories emerging that have become folklore in the investment community. This is a unique perspective unlike any I have read before. It is sad that practices like these are not only accepted but are rewarded inside many of the large financial institutions today. This is an interesting look at the behavior witnessed and lessons learned.

Another insightful classic!

There is nothing like a passionate author reading their own work. I found the information extremely insightful and took a ton of notes. Many of the topics hit close to home and resulted in introspection. I would highly recommend.

Where’s the beef? Book is like trying to find a needle in a hat stack.

Very basic and way too long.

I was very excited to begin listening to this book as Jim Kwik is highly regarded in his field. The book was filled with mostly basic information that has been available in the self-help community for decades. Jim has created a ton of acronyms to try and help, but there are way too many and most are not really helpful. I listened for nearly 9 hours before getting to any of the activities that would be valuable such as memory palaces and speed reading, but they were again basic and disappointing. If you have never read a self-help book, you might get something from reading this, but otherwise most likely not. I listened to the very end waiting for nuggets of brilliance, never to find it. Money is better spent elsewhere.
