Historia
In 1986, Paul Newman and his closest friend, screenwriter Stewart Stern, began an extraordinary project. Stuart was to compile an oral history, to have Newman’s family and friends and those who worked closely with him, talk about the actor’s life. And then Newman would work with Stewart and give his side of the story. The only stipulation was that anyone who spoke on the record had to be completely honest. The result is The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man—revelatory and introspective, personal and analytical, loving and tender in places, always complex and profound.

Brutally Honest Book
Revisado: 11-10-22
I loved this book.. I was one of those young women whose heart swooned over Paul Newman. Yes, to those beautiful blue eyes😊. I applaud his foresight in recording his story. The honesty is palpable and painful at the same time. My husband was also a formula one race car fan. We once saw Paul casually strolling in the garage areas at Daytona Speedway .No paparazzi just a regular guy. I have volunteered at Camp Hole in the Wall in CT what a wonderful legacy. Thanks to his family for sharing this story.

Historia
"If I know why he is the way he is then maybe I can learn why I am the way I am," says Alex Tuchman, strong-headed lawyer, loving mother, and daughter of Victor Tuchman - a power-hungry real estate developer and, by all accounts, a bad man. Now that Victor is on his deathbed, Alex feels she can finally unearth the secrets of who he is and what he did over the course of his life and career. She travels to New Orleans to be with her family, but mostly to interrogate her tight-lipped mother, Barbra.

Shallow
Revisado: 06-24-18
This was not a modern day re-write of Little Women. I had difficulty finishing the book. It was a selection for my book club and we unamiously agreed not worth the read.
