Great narrator. It's a simple, heart string, listen to on the beach type of story.

Easy Listen
Revisado: 07-07-16
I listened to the novel mostly while at work on a project. The narrator was great and made it easy to follow the characters. This is a great, easy, summer novel about finding out where your roots and heart belong when you've left home for a while and forget what you really love. We just got back from a trip to California so I loved being able to actually picture the scenery. Entertaining listen!

Historia
At 22, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother's death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life: to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State - and to do it alone. She had no experience as a long-distance hiker, and the trail was little more than “an idea, vague and outlandish and full of promise.” But it was a promise of piecing back together a life that had come undone.

Not a page turner but a good story
Revisado: 12-13-15
The reader was great and told the story well, I enjoyed it but not as much as I thought I would. I found myself wandering a lot, some places didn't grab my attention and other excerpts tore my heart apart. All in all, worth the read, but it won't keep you up all night in anticipation of what comes next.

Historia
The first of Jane Austen's novels to be published, Sense and Sensibility marked the debut of England's primary novelist of manners. Convinced that "three or four families in a country village is the very thing to work upon", Austen created a brilliant tragicomedy of flirtation and folly.

great narrator
Revisado: 10-29-15
Loved it! Great character voices. Kept me interested. It's a long story with a lot of dialogue and thoughts, and the narrator presents these effectively.
