Rock Chick and Dream Girl vibe but younger generation. I wanted another story with Mase and Stella so glad they are in Phonix

Found family is important to me and not something I have seen a lot of. I am glad this is like the Rock Chick books so those characters can make an appearance, but the Angels are different.

Did RL right book 2? I dont think so

Chris as a character has turned into an asshole in book two. Yes Chris faced a life threatening crisis at the end of book one. But now he is behaving like the assholes he raged against.

Even worse Ephram isnt slapping him upside the head for the bullshit.

Isabella is literally thrown into a fight the first night they find her. Chris wasn't put in the same situation so why the decision was made to do so to Isabella who has no idea what sge is...

Struggled to finish, excellent elements not fully developed. Character development dependent on previous series. I haven't read any of those books so I was lost.

Heroine, I guess she was that role, was voiced in a monotone even when she was in a passionately angry mood. Not to mention her whole role was a very boring and a bit creepy. I expected more from a character named The Huntress.

Hero was Zulu and Italian American raised in Africa mo accent. Native Mosians had no accent! Hero had black hair and green eyes. Cover model is blond and blue eyes!

Alyssa Cole three part series with African and black characters managed to find voice actors who didnt sound white.

Story line was good.

Horrible! Marilyn Monroe suing Hastings

I fell asleep for several hrs while this played. Still at ch. 21 I gave up. The narrator does a bad Marilyn Monroe imitation. Herione has been mistreated by the majority of males she dates. Needed hospital care after last beating. Her family is so horrible she cant go to them for help.

She is taken in by her best friends in-laws for weeks. No charge. She not only rejects them. She stays in their home for another week, eating their food, and locking herself in the room they provided.

I was cursing this character OUT!
