Interesting Revelations
Revisado: 04-06-23
I found this interview fascinating! I am a 64 year old women - who was diagnosed at age 6 with "Dyslexia with hyperactive tendencies." My Mother was a psychiatric social worker; she and my father decided any written records of that diagnosis would prevent me from being an educated person. The laws in the state where I grew‐up in 1964 would have prevented me from attending a regular public school. I would have been forced to attend a different type of school for children with severe disabilities. At that time classical education was not taught in those institutions.
I went to graduate school late in life, I needed a new diagnosis in order to receive accommodations. My new diagnosis, " ADHD" shocked me. They could neither diagnosis nor state that I have dyslexia. It was their assumption that I had compensated for the dyslexia, however they did confirm that my comprehension reading speed is in the 12th lowest percentage for college graduates.
I was inspired by this podcast. I plan to listen to many of the previous editions.

Historia
When Jonell McLain saw the diamond necklace in the store window, it aroused first desire, then a provocative question: Why are personal luxuries so plentiful, yet accessible to so few? What if we shared what we desired? A dozen phone calls and a leap of faith later, Jonell bought the necklace with 12 other women, with the goal of sharing it.

A book for every Woman!
Revisado: 08-26-20
Every woman should read this book. The characters are rich in joy of life. They became a group of friends. I could not wait for the next introduction in friendship. The author skillfully weaves this invitational story of love. She is aware that love is one of the only feelings with internal fruition that supports the development of true care and personal mercy.
The audio performance was engaging and inspired the listeners active imagination.
