Historia
One cold December day, two men are blindsided by a hockey trade; one is the most decorated goalie in the league, while the other one is the youngest coach in the majors. Jethro Hale is the last player Coach Clay Powers wants to see on his roster, but the G.M. pulls a fast one. And it's not like he can even explain why. Nobody knows about their love affair fifteen years ago. Cue the all-star awkwardness, the painful memories and the reawakening of deep feelings on both sides.

I looked forward to this book for months and it didn't disappoint! Great story and so fun to have some passing references to other characters from previous books.

Historia
More than 60 percent of American women have trouble sleeping - which isn't surprising, as they have a higher risk of developing sleeping problems. But addressing this issue is more nuanced for women than for men; pregnancy and menopause are just two factors that add complexity to an already difficult problem. At the risk of jeopardizing work, parenting, relationships, or overall health, no woman can afford to deal with sleep deprivation on her own.

Every Woman Needs This Book!
Revisado: 09-05-23
I am not someone who identifies as dealing with insomnia all my life. However l, as a woman, I have had periods on insomnia during pregnancy, as a new mother and now in perimenopause. This book acknowledges the different life stages women go through and gives some straight forward, evidence-based strategies to deal with insomnia. Highly recommend!

Historia
Julie Flygare was on an ambitious path to success, entering law school at age 22, when narcolepsy destroyed the neurological boundaries between dreaming and reality in her brain. She faced terrifying hallucinations, paralysis, and excruciating sleepiness, aspects of dream sleep taking place while wide awake. Yet, narcolepsy was a wake-up call for Julie. Her illness propelled her onto a journey she never imagined, from lying paralyzed on her apartment floor to dancing euphorically at a nightclub; from the classrooms of Harvard Medical School to the start line of the Boston Marathon.

Inspiring, Uplifting and Heartfelt
Revisado: 09-05-23
Before I listened to this book, my only reference for people living with narcolepsy were the, often inaccurate, portrayals in movies and on tv. Julie’s story changed my perception entirely. I could relate to her experiences as a student and it made me feel like narcolepsy could happen to people just like me. I highly recommend everyone reads this book to learn how narcolepsy symptoms show up in real life, not on movie portrayals. Plus feel inspired that you can achieve your goals no matter what your particular challenge is.

Historia
Networking is often considered a necessary evil for all working professionals. With social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook at our disposal, reaching potential investors or employers is much easier. Yet, these connections often feel transactional and agenda-driven, leaving professionals feeling burnt out and stressed out.

Such helpful, practical advice
Revisado: 09-05-23
I loved this book! Like the writer, I find connecting with people comes very naturally to me. However, I find it difficult to ask people for things and Susan’s advice on how to use your ‘constellation’ to reach out and make specific requests is SO helpful!
