Historia
London: December 1888. The notorious and as-yet undiscovered genius, Vincent van Gogh, presents Sherlock Holmes with a most unusual case. Aided by his partner Dr. Watson and his paramour Irene Adler, the trio embark on a rousing adventure and find themselves confronting the evil daughter of Professor Moriarty. With a helping hand from Oscar Wilde, the world's greatest detective attempts to solve one of the most audacious crimes of the Victorian era and uncover a post-impressionist conspiracy.

Shocking!
Revisado: 01-29-23
Performance is awful - not only is the attempt at an English accent totally miserable, the story line makes a feeble attempt to mix and match snippets from Holme's various adventures - a bit like mixing colours from an artist's pallets and ending up with brown. I lasted 30 minutes - utter dribble.

Historia
Julius Caesar has taken his legions north into mighty battles with the Gallic tribes. But as his successes mount, overwhelming ambition and new alliances begin to threaten his friendship with Marcus Brutus, brother-in-arms and fellow warrior. Although the conquest of Gaul has made Caesar a hero all over again, his victories on the battlefield cause still more rivalries at home. And ultimately Caesar and Brutus will have to choose whether to cross the Rubicon - together or singly - and to take the fight to Rome itself.

Don't Change Narrators
Revisado: 06-15-21
Really disappointing that narrator changed after Book 2. Not only is there a loss in character empathy but Book 3 narrator is simply not as good. To make matters worse, I just noticed that narrator changes again for Book 5. I will not make the effort and so will never know how it turns out for Julius Caesar and is best friend Brutus - though I can hazard a guess..
Dear Audible , please don't change narrators mid-series and especially if the first one is good!
One good thing, Audible lets you send back the book no questions asked and get back the credit. If enough listeners do that I am sure Audible will get the message.

Good novel spoiled by poor performance
Revisado: 12-30-19
I love this series but I can no longer bear to listen to the style of the narrator, The intonation is all wrong, the character voices are hardly differentiated and overall 'the voice' is a huge distraction. I doubt I will be able to finish the book which is a pity because I do like the plot.
