One of the few respectable Republicans left…she speaks truth even when unfairly punished (by constituents and party) for doing so. Her brand of constitutional dedication shown in the wake of the 2020 election is almost singular. Those that oppose her oppose constitutional integrity, democracy and the whole concept of servitude based leadership - which is leadership in its truest form. Her book illustrates and substantiates what a cancer Trump and those that continue to support him are to America. Not because she doesn’t “like” them but because they’re flagrantly self-serving, unethical and exploitive, and their own record proves it

A tremendous gift for the soul

Of course, this inspired author wouldn’t produce anything less than something truly uplifting, insightful, spiritually enlightening. And while I would have loved hearing his narration of it I also really love the way this narrator lifts the words from the pages. He reads at a pace one feels they can grasp and process each important thought. You can feel true emotion in his words. I’m extremely grateful to have this audio version and listen to a pray a day each early morning. I also got the book so I could see the words in paper again later in the day as I contemplate them. I’ve recommended this book to others who treasure it as I do too.

The Audiobook was Riveting

Read by the author himself with deeply moving warmth and authenticity, I was surprisingly touched by Harry’s courageous candor and humility. I’m so glad I experienced this book in its audio version, as I would have missed the privilege of hearing the author’s own inflection which is in many ways the most wonderful part of this book. I found listening to him almost spellbinding. While Harry is certainly erudite and eloquent in interviews and real life, he’s done a tremendous job of telling his story, his perception of events and what’s in his own heart in a truly illuminating narration of what must have been a difficult book to write. I doubt one could go so far as calling Harry’s experience of writing it as cathartic, since it appears more to be more a profound first step towards truly being heard along a greater path this family can ultimately choose to be either one of overdue healing or a regrettable impasse.
