Historia
When the Germans march into Denmark, Baron Henrik Ahlefeldt exchanges his nobility for anonymity, assuming a new identity so he can secretly row messages for the Danish Resistance across the waters to Sweden. American physicist Dr. Else Jensen refuses to leave Copenhagen and abandon her research-her life's dream. While printing resistance newspapers, she hears stories of the movement's legendary Havmand-the merman-and wonders if the mysterious and silent shipyard worker living in the same boardinghouse has something to hide.

Sarah does it again with a wonderful tale.

Throughly enjoyed the story.
Narrator did good too.
Liked her slow narration of the shipyard worker.
Keep it up Sarah!

Historia
Four days before Christmas in 1943, a badly damaged American bomber struggled to fly over wartime Germany. At its controls was a 21-year-old pilot. Half his crew lay wounded or dead. It was their first mission. Suddenly a sleek, dark shape pulled up on the bomber’s tail - a German Messerschmitt fighter. Worse, the German pilot was an ace, a man able to destroy the American bomber with the squeeze of a trigger.

A Higher Call
Revisado: 03-10-18
One of the best stories I’ve ever read (listened to) about WWII!
I have a new & broader perspective of the sacrifices made by so many.
The story was told with great detail from both sides.
Jeff.
