I really enjoyed this one and was not expecting the twist that hit. The ending is not what you’d expect. Fun ride and very steamy.

Not what I expected!

I was looking for a little spice and intrigue. What I got was so much more! It was a fun ride that I couldn’t walk away from and kept me guessing until the very end. The narrators were superb and had me invested instantly.

Sweet story

Terrible ending

There’s so much build up and then falls flat. Nothing ever comes from the climax. Terrible ending.

Unnecessary sequel

There’s no real obstacle or problem in the story like the first one. This one does too many time jumps and feels rushed without cohesion. The first book was incredible, so this is a huge disappointment.

Beautifully written

Such an odd-timed story during a pandemic. It was interesting, beautifully written and kept me engaged from start to finish. The love story was sweet and innocent enough for young listeners. The messages of hope and faith are poignant, but not hokey or forced. The family bonds and fierce love between siblings and “chosen family” were my favorite points.

Hang in there, it gets better

I almost quit listening to this book. I absolutely hated the main character, her idiocy and weakness. It was the most absurd character, but I trudged on. The story was interesting and she eventually became slightly more tolerable, but I still disliked her even when she pulled herself together. Overall, I really enjoyed the story, the suspense and the narration was fantastic. Don’t give up. Get over the hump and you’ll be satisfied.

Intriguing

Creative story eloquently written, I was hooked. Vanessa Moyen’s sultry voice elevated the story, especially the steamy parts. Hoping for a sequel.

Fifty shades ripoff

There are so many obvious examples of how this book mimics FSOG, it’s obnoxious. Completely unoriginal. Super disappointed.

Not her best
