Historia
Sir Tode has finally died at the age of 93. Lady Tode wants to leave the country to spend her remaining years in Capri. Unfortunately, her three tiresome children are either unwilling, or unable (too mad, too lefty or too happy in Australia), to take on management of their large and important home, so the mantle passes to a distant relative and his glamorous wife. Not long after the new owners take over, Lady Tode is found dead in the mausoleum. Accident? Or is there more going on behind the scenes of Tode Hall than an outsider would ever guess?

Awful! Who wants a valley girl mystery?
Revisado: 03-21-20
Not even a smidge of humor. Avoid! Disappointing despite great possible characters and realistic plot.

Historia
Tragedy at Law follows a rather self-important High Court judge, Mr. Justice Barber, as he moves from town to town presiding over cases in the Southern England circuit. When an anonymous letter arrives for Barber, warning of imminent revenge, he dismisses it as the work of a harmless lunatic. But then a second letter appears, followed by a poisoned box of the judge's favorite chocolates, and he begins to fear for his life. Enter barrister and amateur detective Francis Pettigrew, a man who was once in love with Barber's wife and has never quite succeeded in his profession.

BORING!
Revisado: 06-23-19
Do not think this is in the same caliber as Cyril Hare's ' An English Murder'. This isn't worth time or money.

Historia
War heroes aren't usually called out of semi-retirement and sent to the far reaches of the galaxy for a routine investigation. So when Colonel Carl Butler answers the call from an old and powerful friend, he knows it's something big - and he's not being told the whole story. A high councilor's son has gone MIA out of Cappa Base, the space station orbiting a battle-ravaged planet. The young lieutenant had been wounded and evacuated - but there's no record of him having ever arrived at hospital command.

The story is engaging and has an impactful ending, I recomend it highly. RC Bray is excellent as always, and fits the role perfectly for this book.

I have studied negotiation for over 30 years and Never Split the difference is one of the best books on the subject. Getting to Yes will tie this book, but both books educate you about different parts of how to win at negotiation.
