Historia
In the United States, teenagers can focus on one task for only sixty-five seconds at a time, and office workers average only three minutes. Like so many of us, Johann Hari was finding that constantly switching from device to device and tab to tab was a diminishing and depressing way to live. He tried all sorts of self-help solutions—even abandoning his phone for three months—but nothing seemed to work. So Hari went on an epic journey across the world to interview the leading experts on human attention—and he discovered that everything we think we know about this crisis is wrong.

One of the great fears many of us face is that despite all our effort and striving, we will discover at the end that we have wasted our life. In A Guide to the Good Life, William B. Irvine plumbs the wisdom of Stoic philosophy, one of the most popular and successful schools of thought in ancient Rome, and shows how its insight and advice are still remarkably applicable to modern lives. The title of the book does not go with the content which is shallow & irrelevant. I followed up to end of chapter 3 and stopped disappointed.

unfair
Revisado: 04-28-16
After reading the revised version with the boring additions, but amazing book by Dr Maltz, I bought the expensive audiobook. I was wondering if I got different book at first. I opened the book while hearing the audio. But yet to find more unfair, confusing and mediocre additions to the great work of a great doctor. Very sad. I appreciate if Dan Kennedy explain why. ..
