Historia
Sadie Montgomery never saw what was coming . . . Literally! One minute she’s celebrating the biggest achievement of her life—placing as a finalist in the North American Portrait Society competition—the next she’s lying in a hospital bed diagnosed with a “probably temporary” condition known as face blindness. She can see, but every face she looks at is now a jumbled puzzle of disconnected features. Imagine trying to read a book upside down and in another language. This is Sadie’s new reality.

Thank you to the Author!
Revisado: 11-29-23
Thank you for all of the work needed to create such a wonderfully charming book! I say charming because of its kind hearted characters, but this book is so much more then just “charming”. The situation and momentum of its challenges were so unique from other novels! I appreciated never wanting to roll my eyes-as some romance books naive silliness can cause me to do.
What a special epilogue of information and acknowledgements! and also the authors personal experiences in creating this story

Historia
Following the deaths of her last living relatives, Hetty Deveraux returns to her ancestral home, a crumbling estate in Scotland's Outer Hebrides, with the intention of renovating and reselling it as a hotel. As she dives headfirst into the repairs, she discovers human remains beneath a rotting floorboard in the basement. Hungry for answers, Hetty sets out to unravel the estate's secret - and the secrets of its former inhabitants, including Beatrice Blake, a woman who moved there a century ago with her husband, Theo.

great Narration! not a fluffy story....
Revisado: 07-21-20
the author is talented and gifted in writing. It is only that I personally prefer tories that are "safe". After menopause, I seem to have become quite settled and make choices that are now peaceful and not too emotionally upsetting. This story left me feeling upset with sadness.
if that is okay with you, then I am confident you will enjoy the fullness of the authors characters.
thank you

Historia
Riley Kennedy’s emails keep getting crossed with her male colleague, Kennedy Riley. The infuriating man forwards them along with his annoying commentary and unsolicited advice. At least she never has to see him in person, since they work in different locations…until they come face to face at the office holiday party.

Positive review
Revisado: 02-15-20
I read so many negative reviews and almost passed on this book. I am glad I dove in. The negative reviews had similar opinion of hating the male character stating he was creepy and the story is glorifying his stalking harassment.........hmmmm.....my opinion was that yes, he may have been forward and cocky but that was his personality. Evidence was clear that he was a kind person to everyone. Definitely don’t let the negative reviews sway you. They are very narrow minded and feministic. I will say, the story is short and of a typical plot so I did not give all stars, but it gives entertainment and an enjoyable ride...(personal bore: the negative reviews may come from awareness of sexual harassment in workplace, but there was no power taking, threats here)

My favorite Nora Roberts
Revisado: 04-30-19
The first few chapters were completely without any hint of romance or relationships and I had to recheck The category it was listed in. Well, Eventually a relationship did grow giving us that fulfillment of happiness. Which was only another level of depth because the story was pretty darn great without it. If you like strong, intelligent good hearted female characters this should give you mental pleasure.

Historia
When a brooch is broken, some of its magic is lost. When NYPD detective JL O'Grady is invited to be her brother's plus-one at Montgomery Winery's end-of-harvest gala, she plans to enjoy a fabulous weekend in Napa drinking wine, enjoying sunset dinners on the veranda, and watching her brother's high school basketball tournament. Instead, she's pulled into a murder investigation hauntingly similar to a New York City racketeering and drug case that nearly ended her career.

Revisado: 12-25-18
Wow! The author has given us layer adjoining layers of characters and stories that complement each other. One feels almost a symmetry from the characters connections to each other.
I appreciate the authors gift and talent to create these books for us all!
