Excellent read , hated the characters , the story left a bad taste in my mouth and a sadness of how close to the truth this is with current societal morality.

Historia
Tiamat is truly the mother goddess of every creation. Through the darkened and treacherous hallways of myth, her image emerges at every turn. In some traditions, she is leviathan from the Bible with a masculine energy. In others, she is the mother of chaos and void such as in Mesopotamian myth and the Book of Enoch. She is all those things and everything in between. She is found in every corner of mankind’s spiritual endeavor. She is the water that gives us life.

Awful Narrator
Revisado: 05-06-17
This is the worst narrator I've heard in 3 years of audio books. Worse than the robot voices. Nasal, shrill, droll, just horrible. Avoid if you care about your hearing and the headache this narration will give you. I cannot rate the story, I could not get past the first page. Just awful.

Bit draggy
Revisado: 12-26-16
Story was ok but tended to repeat scenarios, on the plus side the narration is great. So many of these books use narrators that sound like robotic harsh toned carnival barkers, fast talking hard American accents with no inflection. This narrator has a very nice American accent

Historia
When ancient people first sought to explain the mysteries of their own lives, they looked to the heavens. There, they saw a perfect reflection linking them directly with an omniscient universe. The study of the stars and the study of the psyche comprised a single science - astrology - that led C. G. Jung to describe astrology as "the first form of psychology". Visionary Activist Astrology escorts you through the mists of time to our own century, when science has verified what ancient people knew instinctively.

I love how Casey weaves her life stories with symbolic interpretations to illustrate the message of astrology. The energy behind the narration and presentation is in itself soothing and healing.

Slow and Dreary
Revisado: 08-25-16
Good book to put you to sleep. Even the narrator read ever so slowly, and speeding up the narration did not help. I could not get into the story...yawn... perception is individual though, make up your own mind, reviews are just opinions, not truths. 🙋
