Good book... read by a bored babysitter

I really liked this book when I read the print version...but this narrator reads it like he is a bored babysitter who desperately wants you to go to sleep. Seriously bad. He reads without much inflection, and what there is is inappropriate. His character voices are absurd and he speaks too fast. Slowing the playback down helps a little, but not enough. Should be re-recorded by an actor with a heartbeat.

These are not meant to be the great American novels, they are fun, inventive and great for a long read.
Yeah, there are similarities between books, again, so what?
Great fun, good way to pass the time while traveling, well worth the investment.

Good, well written and engaging combat sequences interspersed with insane and superficial characters worthy of a 1940s teen novel. Ending is predictable. I liked the Hardy boys as a 10 year old, but seriously out of place in a war novel.
