Historia
Throughout these books, Follett has followed the fortunes of five intertwined families - American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh - as they make their way through the twentieth century. Now they come to one of the most tumultuous eras of all: the enormous social, political, and economic turmoil of the 1960s through the 1980s, from civil rights, assassinations, mass political movements and Vietnam to the Berlin Wall, the Cuban Missile Crisis, presidential impeachment, revolution - and rock and roll.

Whatever is stopping you from having seven figures in the bank - whether it’s shaky confidence, knowledge gaps when it comes to wealth-building tactics, imposter syndrome, a janky mindset about money (it’s okay, we’ve all been there!), or simply not knowing where to begin - this book shows you how to clear every obstacle in your way, show up, and glow up.

The kick in the ass we all need!
Revisado: 07-07-22
I’ve heard and taught many mindset principles in this book - but something about the way Rachel brings it home is fantastic and refreshing. I love her raw honesty, the “get real” narrative and the excellent next steps you walk away with.

Disappointing read
Revisado: 06-21-22
I loved a previous book by Lisa but this one really came up empty. While the storyline is “OK” I felt frustrated by the character development. By the end I felt annoyed with Jason and thought he was a self centered whiner. In some parts the descriptive narrative was fluffy, boring, and repetitive.

What an incredible story so well written AND performed. I found myself stepping into their world and even thinking about the people of the story when I was not listening. If you love really well-told historical novels - don't even hesitate to get this!

One of the best books I’ve listened to this year!! I burned through it and wished I had savored it more slowly...which I may well do at some point in the future. What a sad part of our history and books like this help us remember the true cost of war.
